I had a fruitful trip in botanic gardens today. Took alot of flowers and trees photos and also, i got more knowledge of the gardens and also, the story in it.
Though i had insufficient sleep today, i did not doze off during that presentation. Well, i guess i always have to sit in the front to prevent myself from dreaming? Mmm.. i adore that place. It's pretty and that swan lake story has the most impact.
This is how the story goes..
There was once this pair of swan which live in the lake. They always move in pairs, just like couple and they have been living in botanic gardens for over thirty years. There is this duck.. which they have no idea where it came from, was always seen following the couple swan. It looked like a duckling following it's parents.
One day, the male swan departed. It left the partner and the duckling alone. And even so, the duck still continue to follow the "mother". Not long after, the female swan parted too. The duck was left alone in the lake.. And this time, they decided to bring a new pair of swans to the lake.
They came and now, the duck was back. But they ostracized him and the poor fella is trying so hard. Aww~ somehow, i feel empathy for the duck. How i wish i can bring him home. T.T
Anyways, my whole day was busy taking snapshots of the flowers, trees and some weird things. I promised to find a wormy and i did. The hairy maody caterpillar! Whoo~ and we had a hard time taking picture of him closely. A real close shot i mean. Even darryl has difficulty in taking this active mobile wormy. =.=
Oh ya.. i had 4 sandwiches in the gardens. Wow, all thanks to jeanette's mum who makes nice eggy sandwiches. I love it. Thanks girl. You saved me from my hunger pangs. ^_____^
I picked some saga seeds home. I shall put them into a container and present it as a present for whom ever i wished to give to next time. Haha. Let me think of the whom-so-ever first.
